One man's quest to seek and consume the ultimate cheeseburger

A Simple Classic
There's something perfectly balanced about the Cheeseburger.
The savoury deliciousness that combines a consistent central core of meat, cheese and bread, often expanded upon with a relish, pickles or salad, and rarely made worse by adding more luxurious meats or putting side dishes directly onto the sandwich itself. I rarely crave anything as much as this basic fast food staple and so I often conclude that my mission in life has been prewritten from birth: find the perfect cheeseburger.
This naturally led me onto setting a goal for 2015 to begin a heroic and calorific quest to source the perfect cheeseburger.

We need to be clear what a cheeseburger is, and what it isn't. Similarly, one Cheeseburger Purveyor's Ultimate Cheeseburger is another's standard fayre. This means we need to set up some ground rules.
Points will be awarded within some basic categories:
- Flavour, Deliciousness and Ingredients;
- Structural Integrity, General Visual Appeal; and
- Price, Complimentary Sides
There will be bonus points awarded for unusual or surprising ingredients and exciting presentation.
A cheeseburger is here defined as a bun containing a minimum of a burger (not necessarily meat) and a cheese (not necessarily real cheese) slice.
So as long as we're clear on all that, all we need is the first example to try out. The go to ground zero of cheeseburger in my mind is the basic, run of the mill McDonald's Cheeseburger.
